Food is the first line of offense and defense where our well-being is concerned. One of the most enjoyable, delicious and fun ways to incorporate herbs into our diet is by using them as food. We will go over the difference between surface and deep immune herbs describing their medicinal uses, energetics and growing preferences before we delve into making our own remedies to take home.
Join us as we prepare for the season ahead by making fire cider, immune balls and gomasio.
Cost: $50 plus $20 material fees paid to instructor at class. Fee includes recipes, jar of fire cider, immune balls and bottle of gomasio.
Elder (Sambucus nigra) – The Elder tree has been revered and cherished through out time for it’s magical and medicinal qualities. The beautiful green leaves, white-creamish flowers and dark berries all have their place in the home medicine chest and kitchen.
Join us for an exploration of Elder’s transformational properties of resilience, recovery and renewal. A direct experience of journeying with the plant thru meditation, ingesting a small dose of tincture, flower essence and/or tea and a plant attunement will further foster the connection. This is plant spirit medicine!
After our Plant Journey we will gather together to make elderberry syrup. Everyone will go home with an 8oz bottle of syrup.
Cost: $50 includes ½ oz. tincture plus $15 material fee for syrup supplies payable to instructor at class
