Marilyn is uniquely suited to helping people overcome emotional, physical and behavioral barriers to their growth because of her understanding, her intuitive skills and her deep passion for truth. Marilyn’s Beliefs About Healing:
They say healing power runs in families sometimes skipping a generation. I believe we are all gifted in our own unique ways. Each one of us has a gift to give the world and to our fellow human beings. Each one of us has a destiny, a reason to be here, a way to interact with others toward healing. Each one of us has a light to share.
Sometimes access to healing seems to come easier to some than others. For some reason these people see a form of reality that is different than most. They can see, feel, hear and touch things that others may not believe are there, but that doesn’t’ mean those energies aren’t real.
My Personal Journey Toward Healing:
My grandfather on my mother’s side was a 7th Son of a 7th Son and had special abilities to work with fire and water. I met him only once as he passed when I was young. To a child of 6 he seemed like an imposing figure sitting in a chair with his 7-foot frame and deep red hair. “Come here little one,” he said as he beaconed me to sit on his lap. He put his arm around me and I felt this electricity running through my body, which scared me. I looked up at him and he said “Don’t be afraid child, I’m just sharing something of myself with you.” Then he smiled. The electricity lasted quite a few minutes then I felt this warmth running thru me. He lifted me to the ground. I turned around to look at his face. He was smiling. I said, “Wow grandpa, what was that?” He put his finger to his mouth to ask me to be silent as my mother walked into the room.
When he passed she said, “He whispered some mumbo jumbo into my ear, then he died”. She didn’t believe in his gifts even though she exhibited gifts herself. I experienced those gifts when she worked on me putting my toe back on my foot.
My journey learning about healing has been a long and sometimes arduous one, with many physical challenges. I spent years studying and getting certified in any type of healing I was drawn to knowing that one day I would know what to do with all these different types of healing knowledge. Then one day I was attacked by an owl in broad daylight and had three serious car accidents that left my body and spirit shattered. I met two traditional bloodline native healers who took me under their wing and taught me how to reconnect with the mother earth, the natural elements and how to access the gifts of my ancestry. I spent weeks in the sacred high country with no food or water crying out to the Creator to show me how to heal myself so I could help the people.
During my training, I experienced things I never would have believed possible if I hadn’t seen them with my own two eyes. I had to open my heart, my mind, and my spirit. Now my eyes are open. I know I can help you open your heart and eyes to your unique beauty, heal and be the whole person you were meant to be.
